Alanna Yatco, B.S., CPT
Experienced Phlebotomist | Healthcare Administrator | Patient-Centered Professional
Alanna Yatco is a highly skilled Certified Phlebotomy Technician with a strong background in healthcare administration, patient care, and laboratory operations. With a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from California State University, Long Beach, where she graduated with a 3.85 GPA, Alanna combines her clinical expertise with a deep understanding of medical systems, billing, and administrative processes.
She is experienced in specimen preparation, insurance verification, EMR/EHR systems, and medical billing and coding. Her ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced medical environments makes her a valuable asset to any healthcare team.
Alanna’s diverse experience includes working as a Team Lead Phlebotomist at LabCorp, where she managed a team of 13 professionals, and serving as a Phlebotomist at major institutions like Kaiser Permanente, PIH Hospital, and Providence Hospital. She has extensive hands-on experience in venipuncture, microbiology specimen handling, and laboratory processing, as well as expertise in administrative support, policy development, and business expansion strategies from her time as an Administrative Assistant at Sanare Mind and Body.

Ken Gravley
Ken has been a phlebotomist for 11 years. He started off as a technician phlebotomist and then was promoted to supervisor, manager, and territory manager for some of the most well known laboratories and hospitals in Southern California such as Kaiser Permanente and Lab Corp.
He has been a Phlebotomy Manager for the last 6 years and has hired, trained, instructed, and worked with hundreds of phlebotomists. He also served on the Sharps and Safety Committee in the hospital. His passion is teaching and his expertise and knowledge of the phlebotomy industry is at the highest levels. His specialty is safety, phlebotomy mechanics, pediatric, vacutainer, winged infusion sets, syringe, capillary punctures, processing samples and more! He loves sharing his experience and knowledge with others.
