A graduate of Arkansas State University’s Phlebotomy Program, Kammie excelled academically, ranking at the top of her class in both test scores and clinical rotations. With over 25 years of experience in the medical field and 15+ years specializing in phlebotomy, Lori
Veliquette is a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Phlebotomy Technician and Instructor. As the
Lead Phlebotomy Instructor at CALRegional in Santa Rosa, CA, she is passionate about
educating future healthcare professionals, ensuring they develop both technical expertise and the
confidence needed to excel in the field.

Lori’s hands-on teaching approach blends comprehensive lectures, interactive skills labs, and
real-world clinical applications to prepare students for success. She is committed to fostering a
supportive learning environment, emphasizing accuracy, professionalism, and patient-centered
care. Her dedication to excellence has earned her 5-star reviews from students who appreciate her

Beyond teaching, Lori brings extensive clinical experience from her work with Sutter Health in both Novato Community Hospital and Santa Rosa Regional Hospital. She is proficient in venipuncture techniques across all patient populations—including pediatric, adult, geriatric, and neonatal patients and has worked in high-intensity environments such as ICU, emergency departments, labor & delivery, and NICU.
